Sailing Instructions A – General Sailing Instructions
The following clause is added to General Sailing Instructions A
15.10 Should DBSC require the helm of a Keelboat competitor to serve as a Race Officer their boat shall receive their average points for races which the boat does not sail while they are acting as Race Officer.
Sailing Instructions B – Red and Blue Fleet Committee Boat Starts Thursday and Saturdays
Following a Class request (14th June) the following Clause has been added:
B. The Course
B2.14 When Cruiser 4, 5a and 5b are required to sail different courses the race committee will designate the course to be sailed by displaying a letter and 2 numbers. Cruisers 4 and 5a shall sail the course designated by the letter and the first number. Cruisers 5b shall sail the course designated by the letter and the second number.
(Results for Series B Saturdays will reflect this change with separate results being given as per Thursdays)
Clause 2.5 is amended to read:
SI 2.5 In the case of 5 minute sequences no later than 3 minutes before the starting signal of each class the race committee shall designate the course to be sailed, by displaying the letter and number reference from the appropriate fleet course card. In the case of 3 minute sequences the course shall be displayed no later than 2 minutes before the starting signal. (This changes RRS 27.1)
2023 Sailing Instructions C – Green Fleet Saturdays

2023 Sailing instructions C Green Fleet is amended to read
C2 The Course
2.5 Windward Mark W and Leeward Mark L will be plain orange inflatables, if using L1 this will be an orange inflatable with a White Band.
Clause 2.6 is now deleted
C7 Time Limits
7.1 In a one design class the time limit for the first race of the day shall be 70mins. Should any boat of the class finish within the 70 Mins the time Limit shall be extended to 80mins or 10 Minutes after the second finisher whichever is the earlier. The time limit for the subsequent races will be 17.00 Hrs. or 10 Minutes after the second finisher whichever is the earlier.
7.2 In a handicap class the time limit for the first race of the day shall be 70mins. Should any boat of the class finish within the 70 Mins the time Limit shall be extended to 85 mins or 15 Minutes after the second finisher whichever is the earlier. The time limit for the subsequent races will be 17.00 Hrs. Except that if any boat in the class finishes within this time, the time limit will be extended to 17.30 Hrs. or 15 Minutes after the second finisher whichever is the earlier. (This Changes RRS 35, and A5)
2023 Sailing Instructions D -Dinghy
There has been two changes made to the 2023 Sailing Instructions – D. Please find details below:
SI 1.3 is now changed to read as follows:
1.3 The start for Course W will be to leeward of the Leeward mark. The start for Courses T and X will be to windward of the Leeward mark. See Diagram on “Dinghy Courses and Race Times 2023”.
SI 2.2 is now changed to read as follows:
2.2 Triangular courses will be signaled by the display of the letter T on the Committee vessel, Windward-Leeward courses by the display of the letter X or W. In the case of Windward-Leeward X signifies that the finish will be to windward of the Leeward mark and W signifies that the finish is to leeward of the Leeward mark. See Diagram on “Dinghy Courses and Race Times 2023”.

Following a Class request (14th June) the following Clause has been added:
H2 The Course
