It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Joanne Sheehan on September 12th, following a short illness.

For many years, Joanne has been an important Member of the DBSC Race Management team whose role coordinated the Safety Patrol RIB Crew each week during the DBSC summer sailing season. This was no small task with up to eight different teams rostered every week. Joanne will be hugely missed by all of us, the Flag Officers, Committee members, Race Management teams and RIB safety crews.

Our sincere condolences go to her family at this sad time.
