Protest The DBSC sailing instructions stipulate that Protests shall be post-marked or delivered to the Hon. Protest Secretary at the following address within 48 hours of the start of the race for the protesting boat’s class. Protests may be also submitted electronically through the DBSC Website using the online protest form. The same time-limit applies. The time recorded on the Hon. Protest Secretary’s mail system will be deemed evidence of the time of receipt. Where a diagram is considered necessary, this should be posted, before the hearing is scheduled, to the Hon.
